Why Little Ink Blots
The name “Little Ink Blots” came from a personal design philosophy: the smallest details can make or break an entire piece of work. This is something that I keep in mind during all of my projects, as a way of delivering the best possible end product.
The man behind the Blots
My name is Nicholas Stuart and I’m a junior graphic designer at APCO Worldwide. I’m a graduate from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where I completed my major in graphic design. It’s fair to say that I wear many hats, as I also completed minors in both writing and printmaking. These differing areas of study have allowed me to be a better designer, as they make me highly cognizant of both visual and written content.
I’ve also spent time as a design intern at Special Olympics Iowa, where I worked with the marketing coordinator to create ads, flyers and booklets to showcase the organization’s programs and events.
I’m passionate about my projects, and work tirelessly to create designs that are exciting and impeccably crafted. When I’m not designing, I can likely be found listening to music—probably something by The Beatles—or getting lost in a good book.
